Experience the fusion of African, indigenous, and Spanish culture in this workshop of traditional dance from Vera Cruz, Mexico.
Fenix is pleased to welcome Andres Flores Rosas, master teacher from Vera Cruz will teach the basic dance steps and share cultural information. Andres is an experienced and patient teacher (he also has a sense of humor) and will keep your toes tapping for the entire class. Absolutely NO experience is necessary, just wear shoes that produce sound (no tennis shoes).
