Lansana is a native of the village of Boke in the coastal region of Guinea. He belongs to the lineage of Bala Fasseke Kouyate, the famous Griot of Soundjata Keita, king of the Mandingos. He is best known for his mastery of bala and he is also a powerful dunun and djembe master. He began learning at the age of two at home with his Griot family, being trained principally by his grandfather. He grew up steeped in the tradition of bala, emphasizing the importance of caring for the instrument and playing it with talent. With his family, he has played music for traditional ceremonies and for celebrations. He has performed throughout the United States and Europe and toured extensively teaching his Malinke rhythms through the balaphone, djembe and dununs.

Great your blog name and side. So, I love everything. As a feature of the United States Bicentennial in 1976, the central government authoritatively perceived February as Black History Month. President Gerald Ford urged Americans to utilize the time as a "chance to respect the again and again disregarded accomplishments of dark Americans in all aspects of attempt all through our history." We've ordered a rundown of significant UW occasions on every one of the three grounds. Not these occasions are particular to African American history month, yet they respect the soul of the month. Thanks a lotsReplyDelete
If you are looking to organize corporate events, it is advisable to shortlist two to three venues to choose the best one. Also prepare a team who can assist you in managing several tasks, be it invitations to be sent, confirmations received and dinner passes, to name a few.ReplyDelete
